Time Flies!

This Guy took a head shot of himself every day for 8 years and them mashed them all together in a 1 minute 44 second video. It’s pretty cool to watch time pass so quickly. I feel like time really does go this fast sometimes.

Here’s hoping for a Spanish victory on Thursday against Russia to see them in the Euro 2008 Final.

O2 Ireland redeems itself - Looking forward to 3G iPhone

I’m glad to see that O2 in Ireland will be offering the new 3G iPhone at decent prices as per Steve Jobs’ Keynote last Monday. Details on the press release via Silicon Republic.

Now if only they get rid of that 1gig cap on monthly data and we’re laughing.

O2 Ireland lowers price of 8gig iPhone

Via John Williams I see that O2 Ireland have followed O2 UK in reducing the price of the 8 gig iPhone by €100.

Good news if you want an 8 gig iPhone, but it also bodes well if you’re holding out for the 3G model due to be announced very soon.

If O2 Ireland are clearing stock of the 8 gig model, it could mean they are making space to release the 3G version in Ireland at the same time as in the UK.

They might get me to sign up yet.

dotMobi buys Mowser

And brings California to Dublin.

Via Russell Beattie’s blog, it transpires that he and Mike Rowehl have sold Mowser to the Dublin based company dotMobi.

Just weeks after Russ announced that they were closing up shop, due to lack of investor interest, among other reasons, the announcement that the Mowser assets have been bought by .mobi must be welcome news for the 2 founders.

Mike is over in Dublin at the moment working with the dotmobi team and he even managed to bring some California sunshine to our rain swept city.

When you head back Mike, can you leave just a little sun for us?

It’s nice to read about good outcomes like this.

And butter.

It’s delicious and I can’t get enough.

Tom Waits Playing in Dublin

Tom Waits during an interview in Buenos Aires, Argentina, April 2007.Image via Wikipedia

Just heard on the radio today that Tom Waits will play 2 nights in the Phoenix Park, Dublin July 30th and 31st.

Tickets go on sale soon.. Next few weeks. And I’ll be definitely snagging a couple. Not sure who’ll go with me, but I am definitely going.

I’ve waited (hehe) for this for years!

There’s a 5000 capacity for each night so I’d say they’ll go in minutes. Keep an eye out for the release date if you want in.
