Although I think it is ridiculous to charge ipod touch owners money to update to 1.1.3 and get the new apps, I would pay it if I thought I could jailbreak this version of the firmware. So.. until the jailbreak is available, I’m going to keep my money in my pocket and continue enjoying the iPod touch with as much functionality as 1.1.3, minus the “My location” in maps. To be honest, I have “My Location” on the version of maps for my Nokia N95 and I really don’t use it that much. It’s a nice to have but not on my list of need to have’s.
It’s a double whammy in favour of the status quo.
Roll on the 1.1.3 jailbreak; and then you can have my money Steve.
